“This little project has been ongoing for the past year and a half and is really just a collection of photographs displaying the spontaneous moments where these exhausted appliances are released from the households where they have spent their lives. The final fleeting hours prior to being picked up for scrap. The majority of street stoves photographed have been entirely spontaneous, but I do appreciate my pals who realize my passion for stoves and they let me know when they see one in their hood. I then try my best to hustle over ASAP to document it.”
